About Sue

I am a registered Clinical and Counselling Psychologist, and I am a fully qualified Doctor of Psychology.

As a result of my extensive training, I can offer treatment for a wide range of psychological distress, as listed on my home page.  I regularly attend further training programs in my specialist areas in order to keep up to date with the latest techniques available.

I am a relationship specialist. I have researched and treated many aspects of human relationships during my practice and studies. My doctoral research investigated adult attachment styles and conflict resolution in couples. I have worked for many years in relationship counselling in various organisations as well as my private practice. Please refer to my Relationship Counselling page for more information.

I also work with many recovering alcoholics and addicts and their families to heal the damage done by the active addiction, and help them function effectively in relationships and the wider community.  I have previously worked in a 12 step oriented Rehabilitation Unit and have a full understanding of the 12 Step Program.  Please refer to my Addiction Recovery Page for more information.

I currently work entirely in private practice.
